SD Estate Cleanouts — six services on file
Estate cleanout in San Diego, without the guesswork
Most of what gets sold as an estate cleanout is a truck and a crew with no plan. We walk the property first, put the scope in writing, and quote one flat number that does not move once work begins.

The process, catalogued
01
Free walkthrough
A crew lead walks the San Diego property with you, notes what is staying and what is going, and answers questions on the spot. No charge, no sales pitch attached.
02
Flat quote in writing
One number covering the whole job -- no hourly rate, no surprise add-on once the truck is loaded.
03
Scheduled clearance
Crew arrives on the scheduled day, clears the property room by room, and routes donation and disposal as they go.
04
Swept and cleared
A final walkthrough confirms the property is broom-swept and ready to hand off, before the crew leaves.
Questions on file
How much does an estate cleanout cost in San Diego?
The price depends on the size of the property and how much is inside, and the quote comes out of the walkthrough, not a guess over the phone. We will not quote a number before seeing the property, because a number given before a walkthrough is a guess that later becomes a change order.
What happens to items you remove?
Usable furniture, appliances, and household goods are routed to local donation partners first. What cannot be donated is recycled where possible, and only what is left goes to disposal.
Do I need to be present during the San Diego cleanout?
No -- once the scope is agreed in writing, the crew can work from the walkthrough notes. Many clients coordinate remotely, especially out-of-state family handling an estate.
How long does a whole-property cleanout take?
Most single-family homes clear in one to two working days. Garage, attic, and basement clearance is included, not billed separately. The walkthrough itself happens before any of that and takes about two hours.
Will you sort items I want to keep separately?
Yes -- anything marked to keep during the walkthrough is set aside and never bagged or hauled with the rest. We ask before we assume anything gets removed.
